Wales Ecology & Evolution Network meeting is a conference which promotes postgraduate research and creates a networking platform for early-career researchers at the largest universities in Wales. WEEN17 will be held at the Centre for Alternative Technology (Powys, Mid Wales) on the weekend of 3rd-5th November. The conference will include talks and poster sessions, networking events, games, quizzes and the infamous HalloWEEN party. The broad theme of ecology and evolution is chosen to encompass many research areas within biosciences, and encourage participation from diverse subject fields.
A registration fee of £50 covers weekend meals and accommodation in the Centre for Alternative Technology’s eco-cabins. Attendance costs are subsidised by our kind sponsors. Group travel may be arranged from each university; please contact your institute representatives to express interest.
