This is a post beginners course focusing on developing more advanced speaking and listening skills. Our Tutor will help students to learn how to write and recognise basic Chinese characters. The course covers topics such as: asking for help; talking about weather & climate; sickness and seeing a doctor; money & price; daily activities; colours, sports & exercise; and shopping, etc.
We expect that by the end of this course, students should be able to attempt taking the HSK 2 Exam.
We recommend that at least 3 hours of independent study are undertaken each week to ensure students can keep up with the pace of the course.
Learning outcomes: Students are expected to familiarise with 349 characters and establish a vocabulary of 300 Chinese words used in everyday contexts.
Learning materials: All teaching materials are developed by our teachers using HSK 2 book and additional sources. All learning materials will be provided throughout the course.
Online venue: Once you have completed the registration form (below), your course tutor will contact you with the Zoom meeting link for your lesson. You will need to register with Zoom for your free account.
