Pan mae y dystysgrif wreiddiol wedi cael ei dinistrio neu wedi mynd ar goll, gallwch wneud cais am dystysgrif newydd. Rhaid i dystysgrif sydd wedi ei ddinistrio gael ei ddychwelyd cyn y gall tystysgrif newydd gael ei gyrru allan.

Bydd tystysgrifau ond yn cael eu creu gyda’r enw fel y cofnodir gan y Brifysgol ar adeg y dyfarniad.

Mae tystysgrifau newydd yn union yr un fath â'r gwreiddiol ac fe'u cynhyrchir yn y fformat sy'n cael ei ddefnyddio ar hyn o bryd, ond fe'u cyfeirir ato fel un dyblyg.

Prifysgol Bangor neu Brifysgol Cymru?

Bydd unrhyw fyfyriwr a raddiodd cyn 1 Awst 2009, wedi cael gradd Prifysgol Cymru. Gallwch gael tystysgrif newydd drwy fynd i siop Prifysgol Cymru.

Roedd pob myfyriwr a ddechreuodd eu cwrs (neu a gofrestrodd) cyn 1 Medi 2009, ac roeddent i fod i raddio ar ôl 31 Gorffennaf 2009, yn cael dewis fel rhan o'r broses ail-gadarnhau presenoldeb blynyddol a oeddent am dderbyn cymhwyster gan Brifysgol Cymru neu Brifysgol Bangor. Os yw'r meini prawf uchod yn berthnasol i chi ac nid ydych yn siwr pa radd a ddyfarnwyd i chi, cysylltwch â'r Swyddfa Cofnodion Myfyrwyr i gadarnhau hyn cyn cyflwyno eich cais am dystysgrifau newydd.

Bydd unrhyw fyfyriwr a dderbyniwyd i'r brifysgol ac a gofrestrodd am y tro cyntaf o 1 Medi 2009 ymlaen yn derbyn gradd Prifysgol Bangor.

Where a certificate has been destroyed or lost, a replacement certificate can be requested. A destroyed certificated must be returned before the new certificate can be issued.

Certificates will only be issued to applicants bearing their name as recorded by the University at the time of award.

Replacement certificates have precisely the same standing as the original and are produced in the format currently in use, but will be marked as duplicate.

The time taken to produce replacement certificates can be up to one month from receipt of the request.

Bangor University or University of Wales?

Any student that graduated prior to 1st August 2009, will have been awarded a University of Wales degree. A replacement certificate can be requested through the University of Wales shop.

Any student that commenced (registered for) their course prior to 1st September 2009, and were due to graduate after 31st July 2009, were offered the option as part of the annual reconfirmation of attendance, to receive a University of Wales award or a Bangor University award. If the above criteria applies to you and you are unsure as to which degree you were awarded please contact the Student Records Office to seek confirmation prior to submitting your application for a replacement certificates.

Any student admitted to the University and registered for the first time from 1st September 2009 onwards will receive a Bangor University award.
