The Programme

The course is aimed at dental nurses looking to gain extra skills, or refresh their knowledge, in older person dental care The programme consists of three units:

· The aging process

· Managing the ageing dentition

· Domiciliary, residential and palliative care

Certification

Access to the course content is free, but you may wish to purchase the Bangor University certificate of achievement having completed the course and satisfactorily completed the assessment.

When the purchase is complete, we will verify your details and, providing the assessment has been passed, issue you with your certificate of achievement.

We will also issue a certificate for 6 hours of verified CPD, providing the ‘CPD Feedback Form’ has also been completed.

It is important that you use the same name and email address for the assessment and feedback form as you use purchase the certification, as this is the information we use for verification.
