Mae’r cwrs dysgu proffesiynol ar-lein hwn yn archwilio sut I ddefnyddio llais plant yn ymarferol yn unol â’r Cwricwlwm i Gymru a hawliau plant. Dros dair sesiwn ar-lein, bydd dysgwyr yn archwilio’r cysylltiadau rhwng llais disgyblion, dysgu a lles, ac yn archwilio dulliau ymarferol sy’n seiliedig ar dystiolaeth o gyd-greu’r cwricwlwm. Mae’r cwrs yn cyflwyno dull o gefnogi plant i arwain eu hymchwil gymunedol eu hunain, gan gryfhau eu ymreolaeth, eu hymgysylltiad, ac ymdeimlad o berthyn. Wedi’i gynllunio ar gyfer athrawon, cynorthwywyr addysgu, arweinwyr ysgol, llywodraethwyr, a staff cymorth.



This online professional learning course explores how to embed children’s voice meaningfully in practice, in line with the Curriculum for Wales and children’s rights. Across three online sessions, participants will examine the links between pupil voice, learning, and wellbeing, and explore practical, evidence-based approaches to co-creating the curriculum. The course introduces a method for supporting children to lead their own community research, strengthening agency, engagement, and their sense of belonging. Designed for teachers, teaching assistants, school leaders, governors, and support staff.

 

Detailed Description

About this course:

Children's Voice is central to the Curriculum for Wales and for Children's Rights.  In this day of professional learning, we explore what it really means to embed children's voice in our work in schools.  During this online professional learning, we will discuss the links between children's voice, learning, and well-being and explore evidence-based approaches to embedding children's voice in the co-creation of the curriculum.  We will present a method of supporting children to lead and conduct their own research in their community to support children's agency and engagement in education.

Who is this course suitable for:

This course is designed for teachers, teaching assistants, school leaders, governors, and school support staff.

Why study this course:

This course will shift children’s voice from principle to practice.  It will develop your understanding of what children’s voice really means in  practice, moving beyond consultation to true partnership.  When children feel heard, their motivation, wellbeing, and relationships are strengthened.  This course will explore the challenges of embedding children’s voice in practice and how to balance professional responsibility with pupil agency.  You will leave with a method for co-creation of the curriculum that will support children to feel connected with their school and strengthen their ‘cynefin’ – their sense of belonging to their school, their culture, and their local community.

This online professional learning will be held in three sessions on the following dates:

Session 1:  June 4th 2026: 4pm-6pm

Session 2:  June 11th 2026: 4pm-6pm

Session 3:  June 18th 2026: 4pm-6pm

Mae Llais Plant yn ganolog i Gwricwlwm Cymru ac i Hawliau Plant. Yn y diwrnod hwn o ddysgu proffesiynol, rydym yn archwilio beth mae'n ei olygu mewn gwirionedd i ymgorffori llais plant yn ein gwaith mewn ysgolion. Yn ystod y sesiynau ar-lein, byddwn yn trafod y cysylltiadau rhwng llais plant, dysgu a lles, ac yn archwilio dulliau sy'n seiliedig ar dystiolaeth o ymgorffori llais plant yng nghyd-greu'r cwricwlwm. Byddwch yn gadael gyda dull ar gyfer cyd-greu'r cwricwlwm a fydd yn cefnogi plant i deimlo'n gysylltiedig â'u hysgol a chryfhau eu 'cynefin' - eu hymdeimlad o berthyn i'w hysgol, eu diwylliant a'u cymuned leol.
