Course description: This is an intermediate course focusing on developing more advanced speaking reading, listening, and writing skills. The course covers topics such as: making a phone call, making plans, shopping, talking about drinks, describing a person, describing experiences and events, etc.
We expect that by the end of this course, students should be able to attempt taking the HSK 3 Exam. We recommend that at least 4 hours of independent study are undertaken each week to ensure students can keep up with the pace of the course.
Learning outcomes: Students are expected to familiarise themselves with 623 characters and establish a vocabulary of 600 Chinese words used in everyday contexts. Conduct more complex conversations in Mandarin.
Learning materials: All teaching materials are developed by our teachers using HSK 3 book and additional sources. All learning materials will be provided throughout the course.
