This one-day professional learning course at Bangor University supports teachers, teaching assistants and wellbeing leads to make the most of their school’s outdoor spaces for learning and wellbeing. Grounded in research and designed for busy school contexts, the course builds confidence to create safe, meaningful outdoor opportunities that strengthen pupils’ resilience, independence, engagement and connection to their habitat. Participants will leave with practical strategies and adaptable ideas ready to implement across the whole school.

This is an in-person session and lunch is included.

This online professional learning course explores how to embed children’s voice meaningfully in practice, in line with the Curriculum for Wales and children’s rights. Across three online sessions, participants will examine the links between pupil voice, learning, and wellbeing, and explore practical, evidence-based approaches to co-creating the curriculum. The course introduces a method for supporting children to lead their own community research, strengthening agency, engagement, and their sense of belonging. Designed for teachers, teaching assistants, school leaders, governors, and support staff.
