fMRS Symposium 2025 + Edited MRS Symposium 2025, 31st August – 5th September 202![]() We invite all interested neuroscientists and spectroscopists to come join us and discuss the current state of the art for functional magnetic resonance spectroscopy, GABA and advanced MRS, across two symposia. You are welcome to come for both, or just one of these two symposia. Location: Bangor Gwynedd, on the edge of Snowdonia, and right next door to Ynys Môn (the Isle of Anglesey), Bangor provides easy access to wonderful beaches, stunning mountains, and a host of outdoor pursuits. It also is home to Bangor University, and the Bangor Imaging Unit, which is hosting this event. Dates: 8th – 10th of September 2023. Registration details: – Attending both the Functional and the Edited MRS symposium - £300 early bird registration (before May 31st), £400 regular registration (from June 1st to July 31st,) and £600 late registration (from August 1st – 31st) . If attending only one Symposia (either fMRS or Edited MRS) - £175 early bird registration (before May 31st), £250 regular registration (June 1st to July 31st), £350 late registration (August 1-31st) We have endeavoured to keep costs and fees as low as possible. Registration covers lunch and coffee breaks on both days, a buffet dinner on the first conference day, and fees for symposium room hire etc. A Welcome Dinner, and a closing dinner are optional extras. Accommodation: We have a number of rooms available in Student halls if participants wish to book from £55 bed and breakfast. Otherwise, there are several hotels in the vicinity of Bangor that can be booked. We are investigating providing transport from some of these to the venue to help with participant costs. |
