Access to the bike shed will cost £20.00. You will be given access to a bike shed and can use any of the available spaces there. Bicycles only may be stored and only one bike is allowed per person. Access will be programmed to your room/hall fob.

• Rhaid i fyfyrwyr brynu mynediad i'r sied feiciau ar ein siop ar-lein am le yn un o'r siediau beiciau a bydd y lleoedd yn cael eu dyrannu ar sail y cyntaf i'r felin.
• Bydd myfyrwyr yn cael mynediad i sied feiciau dynodedig a fydd yn cael ei rhaglennu i'ch cerdyn mynediad ystafell/neuadd.
• Bydd myfyrwyr yn derbyn tag diogelwch beic i atodi eu beic.
• Efallai y bydd modd caniatáu lle i un beic arall, os oes digon o leoedd, ac os telir £20.00 yn ychwanegol.
• Rhaid i fyfyrwyr ddeall bod pob sied feiciau â lle ar gyfer nifer arbennig o feiciau, a bod yn rhaid iddynt sicrhau bod eu beiciau wedi’u clymu’n ddiogel wrth y bar syth yn barhaus. Rhaid i fyfyrwyr ofalu nad ydynt yn clymu’r beic wrth unrhyw feic
• arall yn y sied.
• Rhaid i fyfyrwyr beidio â chadw dim heblaw beiciau yn y siediau, ac ni chânt ganiatáu i neb arall gadw eu beic yno ychwaith.
• Rhaid mynd â phob beic ar ddiwedd y cyfnod preswyl.
• Bydd y Brifysgol yn symud unrhyw feiciau a fo ar ôl, a’u storio oddi ar y safle am fis
• cyn eu rhoi i elusen.
• Mae yna 7 sied feic wedi'u gorchuddio. 5 ar Bentref Ffriddoedd a 2 ar Bentref y Santes Fair.

Covered bike sheds

Procedures

 

• Students must purchase access to the bike shed on our online shop for a place in one of the bike sheds and the places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
• Students will be given access to a designated bike shed which will be programmed to your room/hall entry card.
• Students will receive a bike security tag to attach to their bike.
• A second bike may be accommodated if there are sufficient spaces on payment of an additional £20.00.
• Students must understand that each bike shed accommodates a finite number of bikes and they must ensure that their own bike is secured to the upright bar at all times. Students must make sure that they do not attach their bike to any other bike in the shed.
• Students must not store anything other than bikes in the sheds and must not allow anyone else to store their bicycle either.
• All bikes must be removed at the end of the period of residence. Any bikes remaining will be removed by the University and stored off site for one month before they are given away to charity.
• There are 7 covered bike sheds. 5 on the Ffriddoedd Village and 2 on St. Mary’s Village

 

Bike theft cover in these designated cycle storage sheds is included in your room contents insurance. However, students are advised to make sure that they have adequate insurance cover.
